Annual Ornament

Trim the tree with Spud & Chloë.

Here at Spud & Chloë we’re continuting one of our favorite holiday traditions: the revealing of our annual ornament and gift tag. This year’s version catches our pals Spud & Chloë trimming their tree; you can hang this adorable illustration on your own tannenbaum or use it as a gift tag for all the handknits you’ll be handing out this season.

Here’s how to get it: Download the 2013 Ornament PDF, print the page on card stock, and cut out your tags. Then punch a hole at the top and slip in a strand of your favorite yarn.

To complete your collection, click for the 2011 ornament and 2012 ornament.

Holiday Tradition 2012

You may recall that last year we had our curmudgeonly pal Spud on a holiday tag or ornament.

Our gal Chloë pulling Spud for sledding fun.

In the spirit of tradition, we bring you the 2012 holiday tag. Click here to download.

A multifaceted ornament.

Auntie Sarah took several tags to create this whimsical ornament. How will you use the 2012 holiday tag? I’m trying to come up with a project to combine both 2011 and 2012!

7 Days and Counting

Are you ready? There are seven days left until Valentine’s Day.

If you are looking for a quick project to make just in time for a special loved one, be sure to remember Susan’s lovey-inspired free pattern: Heart on a String.

Don't forget, this hat is knit with Spud & Chloë Sweater yarn doubled. Super speedy.

Since Susan originally designed this piece, Spud & Chloë has added many colors to the collection.

What fun to create a handmade hat for your Valentine in their favorite colors. That way, regardless of the day, that special person will know they are loved.

Spud & Chloë Sweater, 55% superwash wool and 45% organic cotton, here are a few colorways we put together (left to right) Jelly Bean (7513) and Popsicle (7501) ultra pink and ultra girlie. Igloo (7517) and Barn (7818) traditional Valentine’s Day. Grape Jelly (7516) and Lilac (7523) feminine with a twist. Grass (7502) and Turtle (7514) perfect for everyone.

What colors will you put together to make February 14th special?

Be sure to download the free Heart on a String pattern.
