I mentioned that after I saw Melissa LaBarre’s Swell Cowl, I cast on one for myself in Spud & Chloë Outer, Sequoia (7205).
I think my red Swell Cowl is totally appropriate for the lovey month of February.
This only took me about three days to knit during the work week, so if you are looking for some fun knitting this weekend, I would strongly recommend this project. You could start today and have a new knit piece to wear on Monday.
The Swell Cowl is just what I needed. Something squishy and cuddly to ride out the rest of winter.
Happy Weekend Pals.

Hi Jordyn,
The Swell Cowl is just down the blog a bit further, the pattern link is available in the post entitled “We think You’re Swell.” I hope that helps. Happy weekend.
Where can we find this pattern? Thank you.
Hi MaryEllen,
You can find the link to the Swell Cowl in the blog post entitled “We Think You’re Swell.” Here’s the link to that post: http://www.spudandchloe.com/blog/2012/02/we-think-youre-swell/ I hope that helps. Take care.
I just finished knitting mine today and I used Outer Cornsilk and it came out beautifully. I started it last night and finished it this afternoon. Thank you for a beautiful pattern that was very easy to follow
Awesome Vicky! We’d love to see it if you would like to post a picture to Facebook or link to a Ravelry page. Thanks so much. Take care.
Beautiful – I can’t wait to make this one! I love it in the red!
Love the cowl!
Hi
I was awarded the Versatile Blogger award and my job was to pass it on.. I am awarding it to your blog. Please come check out my posting about it. http://www.twistedsticks2.blogspot.com
Then for you to pass it on, you need to write a blog spot about it, thank me in it, post 7 things about yourself and choose 15 other bloggers that you enjoy and pass it on. Also, copy and paste the Award logo for your own blog.
Just another networking tool.
