Hi Spud & Chloë Friends,
Here is a video tutorial on embroidering Spud’s face but the tips are good and useful for embroidering any knit toy’s face. The ball I used in the demonstration is made in Blue Sky Worsted Cotton. Sometimes in the email the subscribers receive the video doesn’t show up for some reason so I am including the link directly to youtube for you.
Click here to watch the tutorial on youtube.
I hope this helps!
Enjoy!

Thank you so much for this very helpful tutorial! I find the finishing – the seaming, attaching of limbs, and faces to be so difficult. I love how you’ve done the knot – I will definitely try that next time. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you Susan. You’re so talented.

Thank you so much…great video. Doesn’t seem ‘logical’ that the knot disappears. Wonderful.

You make it look so simple and easy. Love the knot trick. Was wondering how to secure the thread for the toys that are going to end up in busy little hands!
