Winners and Winning Designs

Hi Spud & Chloë Friends,

I’ll get right to the 2 winners of the Spud & Chloë at the Farm book and 5 hanks of squishy Sweater to make both Spud and Chloë. What an amazing response! I read every single comment and posted every single comment so I really did see them all. Thank you for the overwhelmingly positive response. Nothing could be sweeter to witness after working so long and hard on our lovely little book.

The first winning entry is:

Hi Susie! Thanks for the wonderful offer. Can’t wait to cast on for Spud, he’s so adorable. My rav id is curlyblue62

The second winning entry is:

My granddaughter, Adelaide, 14 mos. old, loves all animals and barns and farms. She makes the sounds of the animals in her play barn and stable. She has 2 dogs, 3 cats and 15 chickens (she helps collect eggs every day) and loves looking at the horses, ponies and goats at the farm across the road–I would LOVE to be able
to knit Spud and Chloe for her with your generous giveaway items.

Congratulations to both winners, Leslie and Christine! Please get in touch with me through email or Ravelry so I can collect your mailing addresses and send you your prizes. Wow! Thank you to everyone who entered. There are going to be more Spud & Chloë at the Farm giveaways coming up on various knitting blogs and I will be sure to keep you posted.

Now, onto some fun Spud & Chloë sightings out and about. There are some spring and summer Spud & Chloë patterns that have either just been released or are coming very soon.

Above is a new free dress pattern called Nova and it is found in the newest issue of Petite Purls. It is made in Spud & Chloë Fine and I just love the stripes and the buttons and the tights and the boots. Well, I love everything about it.

Petite Purls strikes again with this adorable ruffly number! I love this one, too. This sweater is another free pattern and it is called, Nola Jane. Nola Jane is made in Fine and there is even an instructional video on the pattern page to help with the ruffles. How’s that for service?

Thank you so much for posting patterns using the Spud and Chloe yarn. I have posted before about how much I am in love with Spud and Chloe and for the past 9 months haven’t knitted with anything else. I will definitely be knitting up that cute little dress. After I finish the Uptown Downtown Coat, and the Boy Meets Girl Hats and Rabbit…….

On second thought…it’s the patterns that you come up with. I’m in my early 30′s so finding patterns that aren’t, dare I say, frumpy can be challenging. So thank you and the Spud and Chloe team.
