Hi Spud & Chloë Friends,
I am a worsted weight girl at heart. For some reason worsted weight yarn is my favorite to work with since I started knitting. It’s not too thick or too thin. Spud & Chloë Sweater is simply the best worsted weight yarn around. Today I am thrilled to bring you two new fantastic shades of Sweater that will knock your socks off!
For all of you purple people out there we have Spud & Chloë Sweater in Grape Jelly. This is about the best shade of purple I have ever seen. Grape Jelly is going to be a yummy smash hit for sure. What a gorgeous and rich colorway. I can’t wait to get Grape Jelly on my needles and I hope you’ll join me. Should it be a sweater, a hat, a scarf, a toy, mittens? Yes to all of that.
Aren’t you excited about Grape Jelly? I am.

The second new color in Sweater is called, Cider. This shade is completely inspiring. Cider is like a crisp fall day, colorful leaves, acorns, apple cider and pumpkin pie. I love this color to no end. Something involving a pumpkin of some sort is going to have to happen on my needles with this shade of Sweater. I’m not sure exactly what yet but I’ll keep you posted.
Whether it is Cider, Grape Jelly, Rocket, Sandbox, Hedge, Shitake or Redhot it doesn’t really matter. Each and every one of these new colors for Spud & Chloë keep me coming back for more. Plus, can you get over the color names? That’s really my favorite part of the whole thing. I adore all of the Spud & Chloë color names. The S & C color naming team can’t be beat.
I am completely inspired to cast on and play!
Remember all of these new colors and patterns will be available for purchase in mid-June after TNNA. That’s right around the corner.
I’ll be back with more new pattern previews soon.

These colors are beautiful! Susan, how would you describe the difference between the new Cider color and the Pollen color of Sweater? They look similar on my computer screen, and I’d love to hear a comparison from someone who has seen them both.
Continually, when folks manage employment seeks they can deal with employment paying about my topic also known as job opportunities in my specific geographic region. There is absolutely nothing other in that. In addition, across frustrating economical occasions when women and men is required to be modest additional potent by acquiring a task search engine. Inside the event you appear at it, the critical reason that men and women young and old want to know a activity associated with neighborhood is about efficiency. Whatever effortless to have emplyment inside the vicinity of home hold the way it drops the hassles, duress, and / or expense on carrying. Another reason why that males attempt occupations hiring into my field is really because seriously is invaluable staying near home inside the event that numerous vital internal send out appears. Nevertheless this is to speak about surely absolutely nothing of their advantages engaging in case you might have school children.
I dont understand why amnesty is not doing any thing about this.
Actually why dont you cry about it? Saddle bags!!!!!
Be sure to check out all of the S&C sweater patterns on the site here, there are lots of choices for Sweater. The other sweater I wan to make is another Tea Leaves Cardigan in Sweater and I saw a few Shaloms made in Sweater on Ravelry.
Thank you, Susan.
After browsing soulemama’s favorites (as you suggested on your blog), I find a pretty cardigan I’d really love to make – Trina, it’s called. I’m also considering the bell sleeve jacket from vogue knitting.
Hi Lucy,
I added that one to my favorites, too. It is beautiful and Sweater would be a perfect yarn for it.
I added that designer’s linen stitch scarf, too. Gorgeous! I can’t wait to see your cardigan.
Cider is really like a darker pumpkin color. Pollen is a brighter yellowy orange, almost peachy color. It’s hard to explain but they are definitely different colors, not anything alike. Hope that helps a little.
I really really like the S&C Tiptoe Cardigan by Kim Hamlin, too. I love this wrap style. Wrap sweaters, jackets and dresses suit my shape very well. And this Tiptoe Cardigan is beautiful! But it looks quite hard to knit. And the flowers are sewed, aren’t they?
Yes! I love that cardigan, too.
That’s super helpful, thanks!
