God are you clueless Dan! What did you say at 11:33 am? You stated that Big daddy AND I MISQUOTE and lack evidence to support our misinformation. You also say that we discredit you.
Now at 12:17 you say that you were only talking to Big Daddy and you never said that I gave misinformation. Which is it. You obviously said both. Reread your posts next time. How's that spell check working for you?

I love this little guy! He's so cute and fun to knit.

Mine is going be a Christmas surprise for my mother, who also was the recipient of my Tiny Turkey. My Tiny Elf will be sitting on the night table of the guest room (or maybe on the pillow) when my parents arrive here in Australia next week for Christmas and New Year's.

The position of the elf's hands in your picture of the face embroidery kinda makes it look like he's embroidering his own little face! hehe

Hi Susan... As I was knitting the tiny elf I was once again put off by stuffing it with fiberfill... maybe I knit too loosely... but the white fiberfill will showing between the stitches and no matter how hard I tried poking it back in it still showed. I came across a great idea. I took tail endings of matching yarn and used it to stuff the shoes and mittens. It worked beautifully and no white patches showed thru! Just a little hint that seemed to work for me. Thanks for the great knit-alongs... hope we can have more in the coming year!

Hi Susan,

I just wanted to thank you for posting this little elf. My kids all love "Mr. Gobbles" the turkey from last month! They haven't seen the elf yet, but I think I may wait until after Christmas (too much holiday knitting, including a reversible blue bird at the request of my mother-in-law) and knit up a "Blueberry Pie Elf" from one of our favorite books. Your elf reminds me so much of that book and I know my kids would all love it - so thank you! Have you ever knitted a fairy? They seem like a close relative of elves. Thanks again for your wonderful inspiration - my family loves receiving toys that you've designed!
