Hi Spud & Chloë Friends,

I have quite a bit brewing around here as far as Spud & Chloë is concerned. First off, I am dying to tell you some good, I mean GREAT news! I got the go ahead to share the new and upcoming colors for the Spud & Chloë yarns and I mean now! I have been taking some photos and pulling together the information for you. I will get those up for your preview over the next couple of days here on Spud say!

You are going to be so excited. The new colors have exceeded any expectations I had. I have high hopes that you will feel the same way. Keep your eyes peeled for some new shades of love directly from the S & C headquarters. The color names, as always, are simply the best and cleverest and funniest and sweetest…. well, you get the picture.

The new colors will be available for purchase in January 2010!

The photo above is of a quick as a blink project that will be perfect for your gift knitting/winter knitting this season. As you can see, I am almost done with this slick ribbed hat. I am making the hat loooong. You can wear it many different ways with this added length. I used 2 skeins of Firefly in the Sweater yarn, this is an adult size hat, the smaller sizes will only need 1 skein.

I will be back with this pattern very, very soon. It’s a quick and easy hat you could whip up in your sleep, perfect for this busy time of year.
