A friend for Ribbit

Hi Spud & Chloë Friends,

Coming up soon I will be posting the pattern for Ribbit’s friend, a bouncy little bunny. I haven’t finished this one up quite yet but I thought I’d share a sneak peek anyway. I will finish this up within the next week or two.

I haven’t named the bunny yet so if you have any good ideas let me know!

What about Floppy (floppy ears) or Cotton Tail, or even Fluffball- that’d be cute :)

I’m channeling my inner Cadbury Bunny here, but I think “Cluck” would be a funny name.

    Get it?

Great, now I want a Cadbury Egg!

How about Babbett and make it a girl bunny? Now you need to make bouncing cat and name it Pouncer, the wonder cat! Then perhaps a mouse!

Love the rabbit! I like Thumper! I would crochet a flower and put it at the base of an ear to make a girl bunny and name her Mopsy!

    My suggestions:

    for a “boy” bunny: Hare-y

    for a “girl” bunny: Hare-iette

I like Hoppy for a name. I also read someone suggested Hippity Hop – very cute! I can’t wait to make this bunny. Great idea.

How about “Bop”? It’s from the “Little Bunny Foo-Foo” song.

If the name doesn’t need to be associated with the bounce factor, I also thought of “Carrot”.

From the Peter Rabbit story — there was Flopsie, Mopsie, and CottonTail, and then Peter, who got into trouble in Mr. MacGregor’s garden.

It would be so cute to make a whole family of them. After all, we know how rabbits multiply !!
